Managing, recording and maintaining consistency of a multi-Unix-platform site using the script introduced in recent issues of the HP/Works newsletter - 'PING'. This presentation shows the breadth and simplicity of this approach and how the data may be used.

An Open Source tool for Systems Management via the Internet
- Steve Boniwell, ABC Solutions

Webmin is a readily available tool that can be used to manage heterogeneous systems via a secure web interface. originating in the Linux stable, it is now available with support for most other main stream versions of Unix. We are currently implementing it to manage a mixture of HPUX, Linux and Solaris systems and this presentation will give an overview of the tools available. An online demonstration will be included.
