Advanced Web Security 7th July 1999, National Motorcycle Museum, sponsored by Enline HP/Works members, colleagues from member organisations, and non-members are most welcome to attend. Please book early to secure your place. |
INTRODUCTION
Security - or rather the lack of it - is becoming the topical subject for discussion when considering IT infrastructure threats, but what does it mean and how can we deploy our infrastructure safely, across and beyond the enterprise?
In this one day seminar you will be able to assess the leading solutions from companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Unipalm, Checkpoint, Netegrity and Aventail. You will gain in-depth knowledge about firewalls, web authorisation, web access control, quality of service and other relevant pieces of the security jigsaw. Practical examples will be demonstrated, showing how companies, ranging from multinational collaborative ventures, through financial institutions, to clothing manufacturers, have used security based solutions to gain a clear competitive advantage.
This is not about the early adoption of future mainstream technologies, but about implementing solutions which give organisations competitive advantage today.
HP/Works would like to thank Enline for putting together and sponsoring what promises to be a most interesting day. HP/Works members and colleagues from member organisations are welcome to attend at the special rate for members. Non-members will also be most welcome. Please book early to secure your place.
