HP/Works Technical Focus Day

HP-UX and 11i - Features and Internals

Thursday 1 March 2001, HP Bracknell

HP/Works members, colleagues from member organisations with corporate memberships, and non-members are most welcome to attend. Please book early to secure your place.

Presenter: John Fenwick, HP Cupertino, USA

John Fenwick is a technical consultant for Hewlett-Packard focussing on Internet application support on HP-UX. He has worked as a member of the HP-UX development team on a variety of projects. As part of his responsibilities, he worked on the operating system daemons, libraries, and command interfaces for the 10.x and 11.x releases of HP-UX. He has been with Hewlett-Packard for 17 years on a variety of development projects.

John is a regular presenter at the annual InterWorks Conference in the US, usually giving half-day tutorials which delve into the underlying structures and features of the operating system. His sessions are always informative and entertaining, and their popularity means they are always packed. Frequently John has to re-run sessions to cope with the demand.

HP/Works is delighted to be able to bring John to the UK, specifically for this authoritative presentation.
